Who is responsible

Compounding Ventures LLC operates Meerkat and is responsible for the invitation-list information described here. Contact hello@getmeerkat.com with privacy questions or requests.

What this website collects

If you join the invitation list, we store your email address, the date of your request, and the version of the consent notice you accepted. We use this information to manage your request and contact you about an invitation and early-access availability. We rely on your permission for these invitation emails; you may withdraw it at any time.

The service temporarily uses a network address to limit abusive submissions. Network addresses are held in memory for up to one hour by the invite service, not saved with your invitation record. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary connection and security logs.

What the demo does not collect

Browsing the demo does not scan your devices, read your contacts, inspect your code, or upload your files. The website does not currently add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Company logo files are served from our site, so displaying a logo does not send your browsing request to that company.

Use, access, and retention

Invitation details are used to administer early access, not to build advertising profiles or sell a mailing list. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to operate Meerkat. We keep pending invitation requests for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. If you later become a user, any additional data processing will be explained before new information is collected.

Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your invitation information, or withdraw permission to receive invitation emails, by contacting us from the address you submitted. We may need to verify your request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Security and future changes

We use access controls and limit collection to information needed for the invitation list. No service can guarantee absolute security. Hosting and email-delivery arrangements will be identified before public launch; this local preview does not send invitation emails automatically. If collection or use changes, we will update this notice and obtain additional permission where required.
